What's Showing

As some of the most anticipated big movies of this month just came out (that being Transformers, Ice Age 3 and Harry Potter 6), here's a what's in and coming in the next few months! :)

The Proposal




Starring Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, and Marion Cotillard, Public Enemies is an incredible and true story of legendary Depression-era bank robber John Dillinger (Depp), the charismatic bank robber whose lightning raids made him the number one target of FBI.




My Sister's Keeper is a 2009 drama film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Jodi Picoult starring Cameron Diaz, Abigail Breslin, Sofia Vassilieva, and Alec Baldwin. The story revolves on Anna Fitzgerald (Abigail Breslin) was brought into the world to be a genetic match for her older sister, Kate (Sofia Vassilieva), who suffers from acute promyelocytic leukemia. Anna knows if she donates a kidney, she will be unable to live the life she wants; she will no longer be able to take part in extracurricular activities such as cheerleading or soccer. When Kate turns 15, she goes into renal failure. Knowing that she will have to donate one of her kidneys to her sister, Anna sues her parents for medical emancipation and the rights to her own body.




Based on the classic 1970's horror film, "It's Alive" is about a baby born to a human couple turns out to be a mutant monster with an appetite to kill when scared.




Next Attraction:

A bit similar to the movie Hitch with it's own hint of story and twist, this is The Ugly Truth.




The Grudge sequel continues with it's third horror movie in its Hollywood installemnt.

A next from our favorite 3D movie creator Pixar comes UP, a comedy adventure about 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen, who finally fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America but soon discovers he hasa stow away on his trip: an overly optimistic 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell.

If you loved the humor from the 2006 movie Borat, then Sacha Baron Cohen's back in a new movie called Brüno coming out this August 26... because Borat was so 2006 ago.
