TROFL [Funny] Burning Questions

I've made my Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen review that's set to come out on Game! August issue (unfortunately it would take that long because of the ine up of articles) so I can't really post 'em here yet and I felt a bit lazy to make another one (lol) so instead, here are some funny (yes, funny) reads from some critics of TROFL who seems to have so far, not liked the thrill of the show. Although they did have points to drive out, (which I did not see most during my one-time view of the movie), I didn't get to include much of these things in my article (because mine was so far directed on a positive rating). So just to let you know the burning questions in the movie, read these crazy reviews that'll make you go LOL, but if you still haven't watched the movie, WARNING: It contains spoilers! :)

Robot rock!

With all the hype going on in relation to the blockbuster summer movie 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen', it's also an opportunity to look at more than the movie but also on the OST! Here's what's rocking the robots [coincidentaly coming] from many of my favorite punk-rock mainstream bands! (New Divide by Linkin Park not included anymore as i previously got to feature in the last Music Highlights post.)

Remember that scene where Sam Witwicky was just starting to find his dorm room and the BGM just came from nowhere? It's from Greenday's latest album 21st Century Breakdown, this is 21 Guns.

Nickleback pumps the action scenes with their super rock and roll song Burn it to the Ground. Gotta love this one! (Sorry about the video though, best one i could find! =.=")

And coming in the picture is one of my most missed bands, TBS-- Taking Back Sunday with their song Capital M-E.

Staind also becomes part of the big movie with This Is It and Hoobastank in I Don't Think I Love You.

Theory of a Dead Man
takes one step forward and two steps back in 'Not Meant To Be'.

Some more songs from the OST i wouldn't stream here anymore (mainly because they're not that goood too, sorry AAR) but i've included qucik links to them also incase you wanna listen:

All American Rejects - Real World
The Used - Burning Down the House
Cheap Trick - Transformers Remix

And to wrap things up, here's something more subtle to cool your ears down from all that rock, here's Never Say Never by The Fray.

I'm just loving this album! :D

To infinity... and beyond!

*ver. 2 --edited 06.19.09

Previously including Harry Potter and The Half-blood Prince in this post, I decided to change it with a movie that hasn't come out instead since I already got to feature HP 6 in one of my posts long ago on "20009 Movie Trailers". Moving on, here's something related to novels turn movies: "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffeneger is a story about Henry DeTamble (played by Eric Bana) who involuntarily travels through time and into Clare Abshire's (Rachel McAdams) childhood. When the two finally meet in the future, it becomes an unlikely story of love that pushes on philosophical questions of 'meaning and purpose'. It seems like a romantic and heartbreaking movie that would be nice to watch with that someone special... :)

And then exactly one year from now, we would get to relive our childhood days back when we were still into toys... And after a decade of resting, Disney's Toy Story will have it's 3rd sequel which means more adventure with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, T-Rex, Mr. Potato Head and the rest of Andy's toys in Toy Story 3! I wonder though if Andy would still be in the picture given it has been 10 years ago (TS 2 was shown way back in 1999!)? I can't wait to know! But still, there's always that saying "everyone's a kid at heart" right? :D

Speaking of toys, GI Joe fans have something to celebrate about as this famous action figure finally gets its first movie titled "GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra" which is surprisingly not CGI-made and is set to be released this August 2009! I may not be such a fan (since of course I was more into the Barbie stuff) but I do know this is one interesting representation I'd like to watch!
(And well because Channing Tatum is a hunk! XD)

Gaming, Girls and...Boobs?!

IGN Daily Fix continues to give gamers interesting facts and info's about what's new and what's hot. And in this particular episode, they feature something truly interesting i can't help but laugh!

Welcome FF XIII and the new world of 'BOOB ADVERTISING'! Who would have thought of that one! :))

Yep you heard it right, Russian Porn Star Anna Morgan would advertise WoW in her natural DD breasts for every porn movie she makes for 2 freaggin' years! Now I wonder whether WoW fans will be busier than ever playing or would probably have their eyes OFF the PC screen when Anna Morgan finally does her thing?! :))

And speaking of boobies, randomly browsing through the ever powerful Youtube again, I saw this video by featuring some gamers asking them "Who is the Hottest Girl in Gaming?". Here's their interestingly [funny] choices by barelydigital.com!

...Chesticles! =))

Music is the cure.

Despite the altering weather, A(H1N1) scare, and the continuous stupidity of [sadly] our government, there's music which can let us forget some of the worries of everyday life. And if I can't keep you updated on Politics and that stuff (lol), at least I can bring you up-to-date with the songs you might have missed and for all we know, music might be the cure to all this... :)

Starting off with some rock & roll, here's Greenday's Know Your Enemy (from their single '21st Century Breakdown') back-to-back with Transformer 2's OST: New Divide by Linkin Park. (Woohoo!)

And back when I was down with a flu (and thank goodness it's not THE flu!), I saw this certain video of a Japanese boy band named Kat-Tun. I wonder why I haven't heard of them despite this song One Drop is already their 9th single! (9th!!! That's more than what Beatles released! o_o)

And of course I just don't look on foreign music but one of very own has been keeping the rock & roll industry alive and kicking! Heto na ang Sandwich with their very own depiction of our country's Capital 'Manila'. Panalo talaga! :D

And lastly which is certainly among the LEAST of my favorites, is Beyonce's latest release entitled Ego. Now the next sentences are more of a rant than the usual praise so if you don't care what I have to say, feel free to browse on other articles after this dot. (.)

Well I just wanted to say what's up with B.?! Seriously, B&W again?! She's hot and famous and could probably finance a waaaay better video than this but the Sasha Fierce ain't showing anymore Fierceness. From my observation, she's loosing fans because they're getting bored with this new Fad she's trying to work on. So before the diva looses all that she's worked for, I suggest she starts leaving the 80's themed MTV and get back to where the color is!

Ego. Pffft.

The BIG Marvel Sequels!

I don't know a person who HASN'T watched two big movies of the loved Marvel Superheroes: Spider Man and, or Iron Man.

And through out our friendly neighborhood SP's 1-2-3 movies, it has been announced that a FOURTH sequel is coming on May 6, 2011 while Iron Man reveals its villains for the second movie.

Stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst will still join Director Sam Raimi in 'Spider Man 4' and options of villains-to-be that ranges from Kraven the Hunter, Chameleon, the Hobgoblin, Mysterio, Venom offspring Carnage, the Lizard and Daredevil's very own Kingpin and the Black Cat.

As for Iron Man's enemy, it's going to be Whiplash (played by Mickey Rourke) and The Black Widow (as Scarlett Johansson). The highly anticipated sequel is due in theatres on May 7, 2010.
Marvel Team-up complete. Woohoo!

AKO MISMO Dog Tag Day

The stirring advocacy group "AKO MISMO" will be celebrating our country's Independence Day in a rather unique and uplifting way.

Be part of their Dog Tag Day event (after the famous "ako mismo dog tags" that the celebrity/ icons were wearing in their TVC to symbolize the group's identity) as they rock the Bonifacio Global City Open Field this June 12th as they feature some of the country’s hottest bands namely ELY BUENDIA / PUPIL BAND, BAMBOO, THE DAWN, KAMIKAZE, KJWAN, and UP DHARMA DOWN.

All you need to have to be part of this celebration is to have THE dog tag (and not the fake ones being sold on non-credited Ako Mismo sellers please) as your entrance to watch the concerts. Gates open at 2pm and the party goes on 'til 11!

Lucky for those who have advanced dog tags already *cough* but for those who doesn't have yet, the tags will be available FOR SALE in the main event. (Yes it's for sale, same way as I got mine too. Costs only P40, anymore than that and you got ripped off---) Preceeds of the necklace goes to the different institutions Ako Mismo is in partner with. (And if you really read their site, you'll know which ones they support and it's all for a good cause!)

Invite your family and friends to enjoy and be one with fellow Filipinos who believe in the advocacy and share their own "Ako Mismo" commitments!

Itching for some trailers?

Well wait no more as i feature here some new movies meaning new trailers! that would just get you itching to watch out for the real movie! Check out the latest upcoming movies to watch out or just gets wash out.

Does 'death', 'premonition', 'second life' and more 'horrible death situations' ring any bell? Well that could be because of the movie that shows how Death itself goes after the survivors of their supposed "time" in Final Destination'a 4th sequel titled "The Final Destination". (Does this imply the last of the movie sequels? Let's hope not because this one movie I just get paranoid and freaked out (in a good way) everytime i watch it! :D)

Get close to death this August 2009.

The beloved 80's animation finally goes 3D as 'pointy-haired android extraordinaire' AstroBoy flies back to air in his movie that's set out to blast the theaters on October 23rd. Although i'm not such a big fan, i guess re-living this anime icon would remind OLD fans (literally meaning the aged fans!) and kids now-adays how old school anime still rocks and adapts... Whattdaya say to that Ben 10! XP

Here's another movie that a lot of vamp-fans are going lo-co for! Vampire-novel Twilight's sequel "New Moon" will be out this November (Hooray!) so fan girls could now choose between the almost-perfect Edwards (Rob Pattinson) or the wolf Jacob (Taylor Laurent, who by the way has shocked me with his new HUNKY image after really working out for the spot to capture Jake!). But even though you didn't understand some of the babbles i just said, just watch the movie and let's all hope it lives up as good as the book. (Although as a Twilight Fan i'm honestly not captivated by the trailer).

And last but definitely not the least, probably the most awaited movie of the YEAR is just days away as Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen starts premiering this June 26th! Catch Shia LaBeouf ("SHE-uh luh-BUFF"), Megan Fox, Optimus Prime, Bee and rest of the cool cast as they get into action once again against the Decepticons.

Now my hands are really itching! Can't wait to buy myself those advance screening lazy buoy tickets! ;-)

Hooray for gaming and Sony!

They say 'Once a gamer, always a gamer'. And no wonder this addiction keeps stirring! Get a handful of IGN's Daily Fix as they feature some of the latest games to drool over... oh and wait 'til they show you the 'PSP Go'!

And just when I thought the best hack & slash game is over (thought the PSP version Chains of Olympus was the last to complete the Trilogy!), Kratos is back as Sony finally reveals the official Machinima trailer of which is indeed God of War III, exclusive for Play Station 3.

Anyone got a PS3 to lend me? I can't wait to try out FF IV, The Last Guardian
and God of War III!!! Way to go Sonnny!

Lines, Vines, and definitely TRYING TIMES!

I don't know WHAT IN THE WORLD the Jonas Brothers were thinking (that includes their managers and everyone else who agreed to this outrageous promotional video) but really, couldn't you have thought of a better advert for their new album (Lines, Vines and Trying Times)?! Yes it might work as people get curious like the whole Hayden and Katrina H. fuss, but then again this is just... so... WRONG. I mean come on Joe! Did fans really request that you do this? If i was your fan (and thank God I'M NOT!) I would have been your "EX-FAN" the SECOND i saw this. It's not as good as how Justin T. delivered it, i hope you were ashamed of this video, it was DISTURBING. :-|

Here's the video that's hitting some major views in Youtube (although i don't really think it's worth watching.)
